Job Description:

Title: Loan Doc Prep Specialist Availability: Full Time hours SUMMARY: The Loan Documentation Specialist is involved in a broad range of activities related to business and commercial loan production, within the Commercial Department. The Loan Documentation Specialist has the primary responsibility within the department of preparing business loan documentation using Laser Pro software. Insures loan documents are accurate, in compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements and security documents will insure lien perfection while meeting time/date requirements in production for commercial and real estate loans. The successful candidate will assemble necessary internal and external reports, review collateral and credit documents, prepare legal documents, perfect collateral and perform loan closings. The Loan Documentation Specialist may also serve as a back-up to other departmental positions during times of peak volume.



The Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the preparation, review, and processing of legal and non-legal loan documentation for commercial loans. This position will ensure that loans are processed in accordance with bank policy and regulatory guidelines as applicable. He or she will maintain an exception tracking and information systems. Loan Documentation Specialist should have an intermediate level of experience and proficiency in the area of commercial and real estate loan documentation and review.



* Understands and proficient in Laser Pro



* Understands entity documents and structure of entities



* Prepare loan documents based upon information submitted from lenders or loan processor and ensure all regulatory and state requirements have been met



* Process preliminary RESPA and Regulation Z disclosures as applicable.



* Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.



* Assemble new loan files and organize loan documentation into files that allow for the efficient identification and review of documents



* obtain and/or conduct a thorough review of corporate and collateral documentation, i.e., certificates of existence, flood determinations, appraisals, lien searches, title searches/commitment to check for accuracy



QUALIFICATIONS The Specialist should exhibit self-confidence and have knowledge of modern office methods, processes, procedures and equipment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is a must. The Specialist must be reliable and highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The candidate should have attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.
